Inbox mode
Read, answer and start conversations in Waribox, while email-only teammates keep using their own inbox.
What it does
Switch it on per pipe, under Settings → Inbox mode (Prime and the trial). From then on, Waribox keeps every message the pipe handles, and clicking an email on the Conversations page opens it right in Waribox: the text, a formatted version, and its attachments.
From there you can Send email (with files, up to 25 MB in all) and, with New email on the Conversations page, write to someone who hasn’t written in yet. Everything goes out from the pipe’s address, so the customer sees one team.
Team chat
Next to every conversation is a Team chat, private to the team: the customer never sees it. Talk the answer through there, share a file (up to 10 MB), and type @name to email a teammate a link to the chat. New messages appear by themselves every few seconds. Then the person handling it sends one reply, and can tick files from the chat to attach them.
Chat messages are kept like the conversation’s emails, for the pipe’s retention period.
AI reply drafts
Turn them on under Settings → AI reply drafts. In a conversation, tick Use on the chat messages that hold the answer and click Draft reply from ticked: the draft lands in the reply box, with the chosen chat files ticked to attach. Nothing is sent until you click Send email.
Built in uses Cloudflare Workers AI and is included in Prime: 4 million tokens a month per account, plus 1 million per Team pack; not included in the trial. A typical draft uses 500 to 2,000 tokens. What’s left shows under the team chat and in the pipe’s settings, and renews on the 1st. Your own Anthropic key uses Claude, with no daily cap from us, and Anthropic bills you directly. The provider sees the conversation’s text, the ticked chat messages and file names, not the files. We keep the key encrypted and never show it again; drafts aren’t stored.
Teammates who stay in their email
Nothing changes for them. A reply or new email written in Waribox reaches every member by email, as if a teammate had replied from their inbox, and their replies by email show up in the Waribox thread. Claims apply both ways: while someone else has claimed a conversation, Waribox won’t send your reply either.
How long messages are kept
30 or 90 days, chosen per pipe; older messages are deleted every night, and who wrote and when stays. Turning Inbox mode off deletes every stored message of that pipe at once, and so does deleting the pipe. Mail from before you switched it on was never stored and shows as such.
Safety
Formatted emails open in a locked-down frame: no scripts run and no outside images load, so a sender can’t see when you read their mail. Attachments always download instead of opening in the browser.
To protect every customer’s deliverability, an account can start 20 new emails a day during the trial and 200 on a paid plan. Replies don’t count.
Who can read stored messages
You, and every confirmed member of the pipe who signs in to Waribox with the address you invited. Their pipe appears under Shared with you; they can read, reply, use the team chat, claim and close, but not change the pipe’s settings, members or billing. Signing in as a teammate is free and doesn’t start a trial of their own.
Removing a member ends their access at once. Members’ private links in reminder and digest emails show the Conversations list as before, never message content.
